“Bring your own device” policies have exploded in popularity in recent years. According to a 2013 Cisco study, 89 percent of companies are working to increase productivity, lower overhead and improve employee satisfaction by creating BYOD policies, where employees use their personal phones, tablets and laptops for work purposes. By 2016, 38 percent of companies say they’ll stop providing devices to employees altogether.
