TechAmerica Appoints Paranet CEO Alan Bratton to its Texas Board of Directors
DALLAS, TX – June 22, 2010 - Paranet Solutions, a leading IT infrastructure systems integration and consulting firm, announced today that Alan Bratton, CEO, has been appointed to the Board of Directors for the Texas Regional Council of TechAmerica, a technology industry advocacy organization. As a member of this board, Bratton will be involved in council governance and provide oversight and support of council initiatives.
TechAmerica is the result of a merger between AeA (formerly the American Electronics Association), the Cyber Security Industry Alliance (CSIA), the Information Technology Association of America (ITAA) and the Government Electronics & Information Technology Association (GEIA). The organization is governed by 12 regional councils, including the Texas Region which actually represents 8 states.
Bratton brings more than 30 years experience to the board position, with nearly 15 years in the technology industry. His professional background includes over 10 years of executive leadership roles, including as a CEO and President for Thoma Cressey Private Equity portfolio companies Global DocuGraphix, Inc., Connectech, and its successor, Hybrid, Inc. Bratton has served as CEO of Paranet Solutions since 2005.
