PowerShell 101 (for Admins, not scripters) - DFW IT Pros & Paranet
Topic Description: You know PowerShell is quickly showing up in more and more places, and you know you will have to learn it. So what’s the problem? You’ve never been a scripter and you don’t want to be, or you learned a completely different scripting technology and aren’t sure how to switch. In this introductory session, you will learn basics of using this amazing shell to quickly accomplish day-to-day tasks, as well as gain some useful tools for gradually extending this knowledge. Whether you’re brand new to PowerShell and want to learn about the ‘MS-DOS on steroids’ or you are ready to start unlocking the secrets of the known universe, or at least those that can be reached with PowerShell, this is the session for you.
