Long known as a creator of business-supporting networks and a defender of data for Fortune 1000 firms throughout North America, Paranet’s history dates back to 1991. Not long after its founding that year, it became one of the fastest-growing companies in Dallas/Fort Worth. Soon it attracted the attention of Sprint, which bought it for $380 million and renamed the new entity “Sprint Paranet.”
As part of Sprint Paranet broadened its list of major clients and strengthened its processes, gaining depth and breadth in people and skills. In 2006 it was acquired again, this time by a group of Dallas-based executives backed by Valeo Capital Partners, LLC. At that point it was renamed Paranet Solutions. Alan Bratton, a principal with Valeo Capital Partners, was named President and CEO. He remains in that position today.
With hundreds of clients, Paranet Solutions’ extensive experience and knowledge adds tremendous value to its engagements. Now it is in a leading position to apply its experience and proven expertise, along with its proprietary Compass methodology, to create fully connected, business-driven IT operating environments that are efficient, reliable and secure.
